The continuous efforts of Wharf T&T in corporate social responsibility (CSR) is recognised by the Hong Kong Quality Assurance Agency (HKQAA) in the inaugural ceremony of HKQAA-HSBC CSR Index 2009. As the first ICT service provider in Hong Kong being granted the CSR Advocate Mark, Wharf T&T will continue to embrace CSR in its operation and promote a favourable business environment that fosters sustainable development while harnessing genuine long-term business values.
Jointly launched by HKQAA and The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited, the HKQAA-HSBC CSR Index was developed with reference to ISO/DIS 26000 Guidance for Social Responsibility, it consists of two separate Indexes – Hong Kong CSR Advocate Index and Hong Kong 100 CSR Index. The index provides a quantitative metrics to measure the adoption of CSR by the Hong Kong business sector in seven areas, namely, organisational governance, human rights, labour practices, environment, fair operating practices, consumer issues and community involvement and development.
 Wharf T&T received the CSR Advocate Mark Certificate at the HKQAA-HSBC CSR Index CSR Advocate Mark Presentation Ceremony.
