Partnered with the Hong Kong Productivity Council and Symantec.cloud, Wharf T&T organised the ICT Business Application Workshop Series 2 – "Unique Skills" You Need for Corporate IT Security held on 24 June to help companies strengthen IT security control and increase productivity.

Partnered with the Hong Kong Retail Technology Industry Association and Lenovo, the Workshop Series 3 – "To Cloud or not to Cloud A Closer Look at the Latest IT Storage, Backup, and PC Solutions" was held on 26 October.

The workshops received a great response with most of the participants indicating that they would consider using the new solutions learnt at the workshop. After the seminar, a certificate was awarded to the participants in recognition of their commitment to ICT adoption.

Enterprises are calling for a more robust business voice solution to meet their sophisticated communications needs as mobile technology is being widely adopted in business and the workplace which is becoming more dispersed with people working in multiple locations, at home or on-the-go. What makes the day more meaningful is that a group of students from The China Church of Christ in China Kei Heep Secondary School (Kei Heep) joined our seminar. Students experienced the latest business ICT solutions and business operation in a real environment which is sure an unforgettable learning experience for them outside classroom. The visit is a part of the 6-year school improvement programme - Project WeCan launched in May 2011 by the Group with the aim of improving the overall performance of secondary school students.
