Wharf T&T announced the successful deployment of HKEx's Financial Management Information System (FMIS) solution and the completion of its core inter-site network infrastructure upgrade for HKEx's derivatives markets.
The newly upgraded core inter-site network infrastructure for derivative market runs on Wharf T&T dedicated fibre optic network coupled with Nortel optical metro multi-service platform and Cisco network switches. The upgraded infrastructure helps HKEx to achieve higher degree of inter-site network reliability, scalability and improve its network capacity to handle the expanding requirements stemming from different business trading markets. Beyond infrastructure, Wharf T&T also provides world-class application implementation service, FMIS, to help HKEx consolidate data from various sources and streamline information processing for the Management. FMIS has improved and streamlined its financial data integrities and analytical functionalities which provides critical and timely financial information in the decision making process.
